किशोरावस्था:- 

ये अवस्था मानव जीवन का अहम अवस्था होता हैं इस अवस्था मे बच्चों में बहुत सी ऐसी मनोवृत्ति उत्पन्न होती रहती है, जिससे वे अपने आप को सही ढंग से समाज और परिवार में सामंजस्य स्थापित नहीं कर पाता है।इसीलिए मनोवैज्ञानिक ने कहा है ये समस्या का काल होता हैं। उनमें कई ऐसे परिवर्तन होते है जिससे वे अपरिचित रहते हैं, जैसे शारिरीक, मानसिक, व्यवहारिक इत्यादि। यह अवस्था मुखयतः 12 से 18 वर्षों तक रहता हैं। यह अवस्था को सन्धि काल भी कहा जाता हैं, बच्चे इस अवस्था के दौरान अपने विपरीत लिंगो के प्रति ज्यादा आकर्षित होते है। जिससे कई सारी दिक्कतें सामने आती हैं इसके लिए बच्चों को सही यौन शिक्षा देना जरूरी होता हैं। इस अवस्था मे बच्चों को विषयों के चुनाव में भी दिक्कतें होती हैं। जिससे बच्चों को ये सभी के लिए परिवार और समाज की भूमिका अहम हो जाती है।
