very house welcomes a doctor. A doctor is a great friend of a patient. Everybody loves and respects a good doctor. These days good doctors do not like to go to villages. They want the comforts of town life. Still there are some doctors who parties in villages. A doctor offers great relief to the poor villagers. Villagers are innocent and ignorant people. They do not know anything about medicines. For them a good village doctor is next only to god.

Routine

A village doctor has a set routine of duties. Sometimes he sits at his house. Patients go to him. Sometimes he has a clinic in the morning. Patients narrate their trouble. The doctor examines them. He prescribes medicines for them. The doctor’s fee is not very high. The village doctor goes from village to village when the call is given to him. Even at dead of night, he goes to the patient’s house of necessity.

             There are still many villages in India where we don’t have a doctor. Persons who have a little knowledge of medicines practice there. They are really quacks. They are most harmful and dangerous. They are really quacks. They are most harmful and dangerous. They know little of medical science. But they pose as doctors all the time. Thus they really cheat people. They are not capable of giving correct advice. Nor they can prescribe correct medicines. So, the villagers have to suffer. But villagers haves have no way out. They still have faith in those so-called doctors.

Qualities

             A village doctor must have some qualities. He should be a qualified doctor. He must be simple and sympathetic. He must try to serve the villagers. He should be ready to help jthe poor and the needy all the time. His fees must not be very high. He should be friend to every villager.

             But a village doctor has to face many difficulties. He does not get the joys of town life. He has to serve the villagers. The doctor earns money. But his earning is limited. Now the government is doing its best to improve the working conditions of a village doctor. A village doctor is an important person in the village. Good doctors must go to villages to serve cores of sick people in Indian villagers.
